FairWalks started the same way many great travel stories do: simply by walking.
After joining free walking tours across different cities and talking with local guides, one thing became crystal clear. Behind the great experiences travelers enjoy, many guides feel an increasing pressure from platform costs and commission models that scale with every additional guest.
In short, the more successful a guide became, the more they often ended up paying.
As an engineer and an avid traveler, I kept asking myself a simple question:

Our mission is simple:
Make walking tours fairer for the people who create them.
We believe great guides should keep the value they create.
That is why FairWalks is built around a transparent flat-fee model instead of attendee-based commissions.
Whether 2 people join a tour or 20, our goal is to keep pricing predictable and allow guides to grow without being penalized for success. Even if only one person joins the tour, you still pay less than the other platforms!
